I have been on the fence between a third party and McCain. Up until two days ago I wanted to very much vote for a third party. I feel that if enough people voted for the first third party on the ballot it would be looked at as a no confidence vote. I really thought that it was the time to brake the political cycle. I do not look at it as a wasted vote. I look at voting for one of the two party persons as a wasted vote. Is, up til now, their been any real change, common sense, out of the box candidates? Obama fall into this category in the worst way.
Is he a Marxist? I have been finding Barrack Obama or trying to.
The answer. No, not in the 20th century, Stalin, kill millions, reeducation, work camp sense of the word. It seems more of a fuzzy, help the less fortunate at all cost, social justice, restrict everything until the only thing left is want he wants. An twenty- first century American Marxist.
He is most defiantly an ultra liberal with strong leftist leanings. And congress is on board if not driving the train.
Okay so Business is evil, employee free choice act, fairness doctrine, stifling of speech, shouting down fair points, calling everything racist, the reeducation of social justice and liberation theology, direct wealth redistribution, uh
gun regulation to get rid of all guns, global warming bs, fantasy green revolution, free heath care, free preschool, pay for college , pay for, free, !!, national security force, brown shirts?,uh
Pacifist or appeasement foreign policy, cut the military by 25 when it should be at least a 100% increase, Questionable Opposition to the nightmare leaders in the middle east, agreeing with the worst parts of European thought, I am not even sure where he is on the Muslin rights? crap in Europe, Uh
Multicultural suicide, the Gaul invasion (sorry the welcoming of the undocumented workers). Oh the Newsspeak(1984), sharing the pie, "he will never let you go back to the way things were, no media opposition.Uh
Restrict everything until the only thing left is want he wants. Cuba? Soviet Union? China? Didn't we fight a cold war for fifty years against this type of ideology? I still wanted find a way to vote third party. Then.
The death of freedom in one nice quiet move is possible. uh
I have a dream of a bright future, it hasn't died yet. But is far far closer to it's death than I thought possible in the United States of America.
A new darker dream is beginning to form. A dream of my name in stone just below the self reliant, individual patriot of the former United States of America that I was killed next to. One of many stones just outside the capital, burnt to the ground and buried. The White House replaced with the largest of all of the stones that dot the land in little groups from coast to coast. In small letters near the bottom:
In remembrance of the second revolution for freedom, may we never forget
May we shed no more blood over failed ideas of the extreme.
Some thing like that. My point I am as much as I don't want to be in the NObama camp.
Voting Against Obama Not For McCain. I, WE Have no Choice!

Obama getting Desperate, McCain getting Focused
The Pennsylvania attention is interesting. Obama is ahead there almost entirely from the support around Philadelphia, 2-1 support. I don't buy that in the suburbs. Evan if that is so, some of those people will move with the new focused message of McCain, even if it is still a little weak.
On the stump Obama, to me, to be losing the focused speech giving. Stumbling over word, the message seem a little muddled. Yesterday he was giving the McCain is Bush lines and said that McCain supported 4 out of 5 Bush budgets. Only 4 of 5, not helping your case. People are not Completely sold. Then he starts on he is worse than Bush. If you can't effectively sell the basic idea why would you go even farther? Desperation?
McCain is focused. Hitting the redistribution head on. Using the stand up and fight lines with the basic American ideas. The confident delivery and the stark contradiction between the redistribution and the American Ideas may be enough to move the masses.
I am going to stand with my McCain By 5

Cult Of Personality, Recognize Anything?
Not sure what this board is for but seems to do a good job on this subject.
The Cult of Stalin and Propaganda
The kind of education Stalin did is exactly what we call reeducation.
This model was used in Germany, China(and still is, Did you see Koppel on Discover) and North Korea.
As always Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely.
The Cult of Stalin and Propaganda
"A cult of personality is the creation of a heroic or godlike public image through mass media and propaganda. Cults of personality are usually found in dictatorships and backward nations. The main reason to create a cult of personality is to obtain undying devotion of the people. When people started worshiping Stalin as a god, he was given ultimate power.""There are 4 main ways Stalin’s cult of personality was created:
- Censorship of anything that might reflect badly on Stalin
- Propaganda everywhere - pictures, statues, continuous praise and applause, Places named after him
- Word of mouth: Mothers taught their children that Stalin was ‘the wisest man of the age’
- History books and photographs were changed to make him the hero of the Revolution, and obliterate the names of purged people (e.g. Trotsky)."
"Stalin deemed education to be a vital part of c being a communist, because if children are taught to be communists the brain washing is more effective. Stalin reformed the education system when he came to power."I have not talked to much on the education non sense, but If your fair there is at least a strong tilt toward leftist views. They should cover the other points of view but don't. David Horowitz, for good or bad, gives a good description. (Unfortunately you need real player)
The kind of education Stalin did is exactly what we call reeducation.
"The Russian people shouldn’t be blamed for the atrocities that were that were made possible through their support of the regime and StalinThis is exactly my fear. We are there in sum respects. We are not killing people but if a leader can do not wrong what will they do.
Continues propaganda effectively brain washed and clouded their judgment
They truly believed that Stalin was unaware of the crimes on humanity that became so banal during his rule and though"
This model was used in Germany, China(and still is, Did you see Koppel on Discover) and North Korea.

Obama's 1984 Kids
I hate to reference Orwell over and over but with my limited education I don't have a more appropriate example.
Where to begin?
Orwell, children where told in school and at every turn to inform on there parents for every infraction of any form against the government.
Kids know better?
Giving your grandmother attention just to get her to vote Obama. Wow i thought you talked to them because they are your grandparents. Hey, you might learn something.
Oh and lets threaten them to. I might have taken that tact to get them to see a doctor or take their pills maybe? but not very likely.
My parents are responsible for the decline of the US because they don't vote. (mine do actually
and registered long before I can remember) How about the political system in general? lack of real leadership across the board? And several hundred other thing on the list before people not voting?
13? have you even had much 20th century US history yet. Do you know capitalism, Marxism, the rise and fall of USSR, Jimmy Carter, Water Gate, and anything else that might have an effect? What about all the games that are played by politicians?
This comes from Obama The Talk, the recruiting page for the under age and under informed.
Pissed! How often do you see or hear of parents bow down to their children? grow a spine and put them in their place. When you know some history and understand a little more about how all this actually worked then talk to me. So be Quiet and go to school, not that that will help, when you turn 18 I'll listen If you have a point , good. Most likely I will have to correct all the crap that they learned and fill the giant gaps the just happened to be left out.

Going Again
Been gone not that anyone has noticed due to more computer problem along with a fractured leg in the family. After several boot rewrites and a reinstall or two it is fixed for good I hope. It looks like an IDE cable was bad and probably is what killed the last drive. So computer good and the leg seems to be getting there.

Not Marxist but a Liberal Super Majority
If your not buying into the whole Obama is a Marxist, which I understand, then there is a more reasonable and simpler version of really bad things to come. Not Marxist but a Liberal Super Majority
A Liberal Supermajority: Get ready for 'change' we haven't seen since 1965, or 1933.
The general idea is that you have a very liberal President, Obama ; a very liberal Senate with a possible filibuster proof majority led by Sen. Reid and a very liberal House majority led by Speaker Pelosi. They can pass just about anything they want. The hope is that they do just enough damage to get them all booted but not enough to have any lasting damage. Not very likely.

"In both 1933 and 1965, liberal majorities imposed vast expansions of government that have never been repealed, and the current financial panic may give today's left another pretext to return to those heydays of welfare-state liberalism."Some of there issues are not getting to enough people
"The "Employee Free Choice Act" would convert workplaces into union shops merely by gathering signatures from a majority of employees, which means organizers could strongarm those who opposed such a petition."This is being done with absentee ballots in some states now. there is no check before they cast a ballot that can't be identified and can't be removed if the person should not be registered or all ready has.
"Huge chunks of GDP and millions of jobs would be at the mercy of Congress and a vast new global-warming bureaucracy"
"One early effort would be national, election-day voter registration."
"A major goal of the supermajority left would be to shut down talk radio and other voices of political opposition."Sounds a little socialist/authoritarian to me.
Deregulation, Fluidity or Europe's Influence
It is a shame that these discussion don't make it to the evening news.
Another 'Deregulation' Myth: A cautionary tale about financial rules that failed.
Another 'Deregulation' Myth: A cautionary tale about financial rules that failed.
'As for the SEC, if commissioners took on a massive burden in 2004 without realizing they had signed up to safeguard the world's financial system, then they overreached. But they sure didn't "deregulate."'Deregulation has never been no regulation, why does that claim get any traction. More regulation is not the answer less, smarter and simpler regulation is.
"Part of the answer is that, instead of a fixed capital ratio standard, Basel II uses mathematical models crunching historical data to determine how risky an institution's assets are and therefore how much capital it needs. For this reason, when the investment banks switched to Basel II in the middle of a housing boom, AAA-rated mortgage-backed securities appeared almost as safe as cash. Oops."That is fine if you want to go that way but shouldn't there have been a baseline minimum no matter how good things looked? Is there a necessity to continue to make the market more fluid all the time? Set the rules and stop changing them all the time.
"Was Basel II a libertarian plot cooked up at the Cato Institute? Not quite. It was the product of years of effort by the world's major central banks, intended to avoid crises such as the U.S. savings and loan disaster."Following Europe is always such a good idea. Don't they think very differently about the world then us?

What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others.

Not Joe the Not Plumber
His name is Sam, okay he wants to be called Joe. fine

He doesn't have a plumbers license in his state so he is not a plumber. WTF! What the hell are they laughing at. They didn't vet the guy? If the man can do the job and does it day in and day out then in my book he is a FREAK'N PLUMBER! He doesn't have a license ha ha. WTF.
AC360 is increasingly making me sick. I am hoping they name someone on the left in his top ten to blame for the financial mess, but not holding my breath.

Finding Barack Obama
I worry that I have a completely distorted view of Barack Obama. Is he really a socialist, Marxist, or communist. The last two would be very 1984 and harder to pin down. The first would be enough to off put most people, I hope.
I wonder if i read to much Conservative writing. Then I look at who he has worked with, what he has said and what he has done an I am back to how is he not losing by double digits. Put aside the skepticism and the partisan filters and look for a while.
I have tried not to link to the less credible and right wing talking points. Get a drink, sit, read and question.
Thank you to American Thinker for its continued collecting of thoughtful articles.
Start here with the overview
Why Obama's socialism matters
Obama's Religious Ruse: The Cult of the Marxist Messiah
Obama's Radical Revolution:Its Alinsky Root and Global Vision
I am not for linking Obama to Ayers but some direct questions need to be asked of Obama not on his relationship with him but on what Obama thinks about specific ideas Ayers believes.
On Bill Ayers and small 'c' communists
Obama's Global Tax
You want to see what the results of all this look to the U.K. It is NOT pretty!
SO? Huge government, redistribution of wealth, government knows best, social justice, heavy regulation of business (big business is evil), criminalizing speech and taking the guns away.
Only the Government can save you, not you or your neighbors or capitalism or your God, Only the government, the government is your family is your God. 1984?

Start here with the overview
Why Obama's socialism matters
"It took Marx and Engels to carry socialism to the next level, in which they envisioned the complete overthrow of all governments, with the workers of the world uniting so that all contributed to a single socialist government, which in turn would give back to them on an as needed basis. Assuming that you're not big on individualism and exceptionalism, this might be an attractive doctrine as a way to destroy want and exploitation, except for one thing: It does not take into account the fact that the state has no conscience. "This article is part 3 of 3 with foot notes and the like. Draw a different conclusion if you want but look at the source and decide for yourself.
Obama's Religious Ruse: The Cult of the Marxist Messiah
"For Obama, that "larger project" of his agenda is America's servitude to Marxist socialism, for which Christian verbiage can be made a tool of manipulation. As far back as 1995 Wright's disciple and Bill Ayers' protégé disclosed that to establish the "new age" of collectivist "salvation" will require compulsory "sacrifice" of Americans' liberty:"Some of the connections in Obama's early days are a little sketchy. There is a link to a great post Obama, the Closer at NRO
Obama's Radical Revolution:Its Alinsky Root and Global Vision
"It was time for the radicals to change tactics, and follow Alinsky's advice. They remained convinced of their destiny to be the ones to bring the U.S.A. into the fold of the international socialist collective. They began to organize, go to law school, run for public office, whittle away at traditional American institutions, and in all ways prepare for "The One," their closer."
On Bill Ayers and small 'c' communists
"Now when your friendly neighborhood "small ‘c' communist" comes along, all smiles, and offering love and peace, we need to say just one thing: One Hundred Million. If that doesn't wipe the smile off their faces they are beyond human reach. By that act of willed ignorance they have exiled themselves from the company of decent people."All that said there is not a crystal clear link to a socialist/Marxist view from Obama, just a very strong circumstantial case. Enough for me to run and hide if he gets in. Maybe he is just at the very collectivist/giant government end of the liberal spectrum. Then there is this.
Obama's Global Tax
"Senator Barack Obama's sponsorship of Senate Bill 2433 aligns with the emerging core theme of his general election campaign. The change he promises will bring much-needed relief, not just to America's victims of economic injustice, but to victims worldwide."Liberals Rethink Free Speech
"Enter the Obama campaign, which reflects the new ethos. It twice issued "Obama Action Wire" alerts for activists to call a Chicago radio station and try to shut down appearances by two Obama critics, writers Stanley Kurtz and David Freddoso. No "chilling effect" here. CNN and the Chicago Tribune reported on the effort to silence Obama's detractors, but mostly by way of noting the Obama camp's tech-savvy mustering of its supporters."Obama Wages War on Freedom of Speech
"If candidate Obama is willing to have people arrested when they say things about him that he doesn’t like, will President Obama have the vision or courage or understanding to stand up against the OIC when it demands restrictions on freedom of speech at precisely the same time that he wants to build bridges to the Islamic world and demonstrate his power to restore hope and bring change to old stalemated conflicts?Obama's Toothless Second Amendment
"Obama's view is similar to that of Justice Stephen Breyer, who dissented from the Supreme Court's decision. Even if the Second Amendment protects an individual right to armed self-defense, Breyer said, that right has to be weighed against "other important governmental interests." And since a gun law like D.C.'s might reduce violent crime (never mind the lack of evidence that it actually has), the courts should yield to legislators' judgments about how best to strike the balance."

The Rules For John MCcain in the Third Debate.
1. Do not say Ayers, Rev. wright or ACORN in the context of voting.
You are trying to get those in the middle. They have written off Ayers and Wright as guilt by association, as important as it might be its not working well. ACORN and voting are being mitigated and with the small number that are in question maybe it should.
Instead of Ayers talk about the CAC and who they gave money to. Start with the Kurtz' Wright 101. Quote from as many mission statement and publications as you can find.
Instead of Rev. Wright talk about Social Justice, Liberation Philosophy and Theology. The similarities to Marxist thought, how this has lead to God backing socialist views and once that happens it becomes untouchable at least in the political world.
Instead of Talking about the ACORN and the voter registration talk about there housing activities. What is their mission statement.
2.Spend half the time being brief and concise on the economy. Half asking Obama questions.
You economics plan is out there. Be honest the President has little to to with the economy and the situation is likely to be vastly different by the time you take office. Don't dodge, brief and concise and don't take any bate to get into the weeds.
Questions for Obama:

If I pay no income tax now will i get money from the government?
Is that just welfare by another name?
What is social justice?
If we live in a free society that who imposes social justice?

Are you a Democrat, Liberal Democrat or a Democratic Socialist?
Is being my brother and sisters keeper a job for the government?
3. Trap him on using the race card, the double standard and the socialists ideas.
Those who might be really offended are not voting for you anyway.
Quote the comments of Rep. Lewis, Rev Jackson and mention the endless discussion of how race effects the election. Larry King had the headline Does the economy trump racism. So let me get this straight if people may get over the racism because of the economy Obama wins if not he loses because of racism? Hit this head on. There enough clear examples of this to make your point.
Make it clear that a liberal liberal is just that but a very liberal liberal is a socialist. If you treat people as victims are they? Quote Marx, Stalin or Mao, not the blatant ones but ones some will recognize and ask him if he agrees.

4. Be Mad, Be very mad.
How long did you spend in Hanoi fighting the communists? "I spent ect to protect democracy from communists and socialist I can not sit here and let one waltz into the White house, hell yes I am mad." Along those lines.
Get mad about Bush weak monetary policy, Greenspan keeping rates low as long as he did, the encouragement by those in the Congress that encouraged Fanny and Freddy, those on wall street that really did wrong, and those groups who pushed the sub prime loans.
Get mad about this double standard on race, the chilling of speech, the oppressive pc environment, intellectual dishonesty on all sides, those who don't answer question when directly asked and the shouting down of those who disagree.
5. Slogans and 30 second clips.
Hell no Socialists NO

Easy Listing
I do much better responding or asking questions than try to explain ideas with out reference to any thing someone most like doesn't know. So commenting on lists is right up my ally although not the most honest way of explaining positions.
Sooo, over at Slate.
The New Complacency
Democrats relearn how to take the presidency for granted.
I did not like the direction of debate under Republicans and am going to be ill over the direction the leftists/Marxists take it. I am reordering and leaving out some from this list that i am neutral on.
Saving the boulder darter was worth a few thousand jobs!
Charity, forgiveness, Golden rule? There is a lot of crap to0.
"It's not enough that the top 5 percent pays 55 percent of our taxes. Why not 75 percent? Believe me, they can afford it!"
As bad as trickle down sounds zero growth sounds even worst.
"The problem with public schools is private schools!"
Yes put the private school out of business buy having all public schools be the best most efficient public schools in the world.
Sooo, over at Slate.

"I think Karl Marx had some valuable insights into capitalist economies!"Maybe? but a really wrong road to go down
"I think abortion should be safe and legal. Rare is fine, too, but the way to achieve that is contraception, baby!"Rare should be the goal. Through contraception great as long as responsibility is included.
"The Second Amendment does too allow government to ban handguns!"
How in the hell do you even remotely come to that?
"Let's standardize the federal age of consent at 16!"
In a well educated and mature society I might be game, but right now in most cases it should be 20.
"Promiscuity between consenting adults is good exercise!"
Flippant? Although promiscuity among mentally and emotionally mature adults, no problem, but not the government's place to go any direction between adults in private.
"Health care is a service, not a business!"No, insures are the only part that should not be a business, take them back to non profits
"Pot is no more dangerous than vodka. Legalize it!"Maybe, lets start by moving to to schedule 2 and doing some actual studies.
"No more wars without United Nations or at least NATO support!"Leadership, not world bureaucracy!
"If Eastern Europeans think NATO will go to war to defend them against Russia, they're out of their minds!Ditto if Taiwan thinks the United States will go to war to defend it against China!"How do have any credibility or help in the world if in the end your going to hang them out to dry?
Saving the boulder darter was worth a few thousand jobs!
"Saving the boulder darter was worth a few thousand jobs!"Make work wonderful.
"Let's teach evolution in Sunday school!"Where did this come from? Doesn't separation of church and state run both ways?
"The military-industrial complex is a greater menace than most foreign nations!"What year is it?
"If Israel isn't out of the occupied territories in six months, we'll cut off all aid."If your going to take a hard line go in with troops and make it as fair as possible, or better yet make the sympathetic state adopt the Palestinians.
"Higher gas prices are good because they make everybody bike and take public transit like they should!"If you want stop really stop global warming go live in a commune or become Amish. I want to live in the 21th century not the 19th which is whats really required if you believe all of that nonsense.
"America isn't the greatest nation in the world. We think it is only because it's our country. Duh!"The second should be taken into consideration but it does not make the first less true.
"America won't be the world's most powerful nation forever. And you know what? Handing that responsibility off will be a relief!"Maybe, but it will and has lost power by its own doing. see last. That becomes self fulfilling.
"America's official languages should be English and Spanish!"Lose the Spanish. This society is complicated enough with out having to wait several more generations for everyone to learn Spanish. Lots of people can hardly speak English.
"I do not accept Jesus Christ as my personal savior! I don't even believe in God!What's so great about the Judeo-Christian tradition?"
Charity, forgiveness, Golden rule? There is a lot of crap to0.
"Big-city values are better than small-town values!"What are big city values and how socialist are they?
"I'm glad the Muslims whupped the Christians during the Crusades! Served 'em right!"Yes Christians can be wrong but look at the Muslim history especially recent history.
"We need a shorter work week!"Great! If You let me keep more of my money and make it worth more ie. stop running up the dept.
"Employees who work more than 40 hours a week should always get overtime."Leave it alone. If you don't want to work a salary job then don't but stop changing the rules.
"We're going to need affirmative action for a long time."Stop it now! It is not equal but at this point it is time to leave it alone and let it work itself out.
"We're undertaxed. Look at Europe!"That is the funniest thing, oh do they really mean it?
"Terrorism isn't that big a threat to America!"YES. Ignorance of history, logic and the full facts. (the truth not spin.) Are the biggest threat, said again and again America can only fall from within.
"I'm not a "progressive," for Pete's sake. I'm a liberal!I'm not a "liberal," for Pete's sake. I'm a leftist!I'm not a "leftist," for Pete's sake. I'm a democratic socialist!I'm not a democratic socialist, for Pete's sake. I'm a Communist! Just kidding!"Remove the just kidding part and that is were some are. Democratic Socialist. THE TRUTH
"It's not enough that the top 5 percent pays 55 percent of our taxes. Why not 75 percent? Believe me, they can afford it!"
As bad as trickle down sounds zero growth sounds even worst.
"Prostitution is a victimless crime! Don't outlaw it; regulate it, so we can arrest physically abusive pimps, limit the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, and halt sexual trafficking in minors!"Flippant, but I generally agree.
"Many welfare moms kicked off the rolls by the 1996 welfare-reform bill are worse off in their crappy jobs!"I don't think so but I am from Missouri, Show ME.
"You want to know why George W. Bush was a lousy president? Because he's stupid!"Stupid, not so sure. No leadership and Piss poor communication and organizational skills yes.
"Pornography is good for your marriage because it teaches you new sexual techniques!"Flippant again, 1st amendment ect. and the taboo issue.
"The problem with public schools is private schools!"
Yes put the private school out of business buy having all public schools be the best most efficient public schools in the world.

There is a chilling of speech.
Read your history or wake up in the USSR
There is an intellectual dishonesty.
Obama's 95% Illusion:It depends on what the meaning of 'tax cut' is.
There is more just plain shouting down.
It is not on just the streets. It has been elevated and institutionalized.

I Hope This is the Game Changer
John McCain needs a game changer. Well lets hope this is it.
Big: Scrubbed Web Pages Resurface Naming Obama As Member of Expressly-Leftist "New Party"
and
Barack Obama Was a Member of Radical Left New Party
I hope there is truth to all this and at this point i think there is. Now whither if it get in to the main stream or not, well?
Just a thought but shouldn't you just run part of the CNN Ayers piece in stead of that ridiculous ad they have on their home page. Don't call them friends, lay out the facts and let the people come to that conclusion.

Marxist Thought and Barack Obama
I have struggled to find a clear way to show the link between Obama and a Marxist philosophy. Lucky for me someone else has better skills than me. It doesn't include the links to Ayers and the others. You don't have to read all that much. Please if you don't trust some of the sources, like on the Global Poverty Act and the UN, look it up its not hat hard. Just read a little of the summaries.

Presidential Debate, Mcain wins a little.
McCain seemed better on the details and more on point. McCain has an edge but didn't do nearly enough. Obama may regret blaming so many thing on Iraq, Not getting Osama, deficit, financial crisis ect. More stump speech over and over.
They are both moving so socialist. I though i was living in the USA. I was wrong.
Vote incumbents out at lest if you want to do some good vote first third.

Presidential Debate
First question: bail out for everyone in trouble not good
McCain readjusting house prices, governments set price = Communist?
2nd : more of the same
Fanny and Freddy should never been GSE, regulation or not. they miss the point.
More of the same, blame only part of the system with only partial truth from both
Deregulation is not no regulation.
Mod Q: better before worse? - no brainer why say different McCain
Q3: both to blame for financial crisis: good Q not enough detail
Obama: this only started when bush got in office? Mostly Rep. fault? Not answering Q
McCain: stump speech, point to outside groups good, attack on little stupid crap bad
Okay this is another BS train wreck. Stump speeches again?
No line item veto Senator Obama
Q4: What sacrifices need to be made?
McCain: eliminate programs? really? stupid overhead projector attack. Spending freeze (good but not what was asked.)
Obama: using 9/11 to attack Bush. (nice Our sacrifice is Carters put on a sweater.) More community service? (Should that be a gov. thing.)
Mod Q: Obama sharing the burden over and over. Yes yes comrade
McCain: some specifics finally.
Q5: real dept question then messed with
Obama: Dodging.( If you don't pay taxes you will get a check? Reverse policies? raise taxes?)
McCain: ss compromise, medicare by committee.
Q6: congress move faster; basis green jobs?
smoke brake both seem to be dodging
Mod Q; Manhattan project vs garages
both missing the question
Q7: heath care as a commodity?
Obama: Moral imperative. Can buy into gov. heath care? (not good why should an employer pay for something the gov. would give out?)
McCain: Impose efficacy? Insurance across state lines good. Choice over mandates?
MOD Q: right, responsibility, privilege
McCain: i missed it
Obama: right, McCain vote against child heath care, kind of and not look into it
Make heath care not for profit like it once was and call it a day.
Q8: peace maker?
McCain: America good, use force when necessary and can do good, judgment.
Obama: Iraq Iraq (The war is off budget.) World respect( over rated) we didn't go to Sudan because of Iraq?
Mod Q: doctrine
Obama: Ethnic cleansing go in McCain: Lebanon stop please
Q9:Pakistan and terrorist:
Don't care Obama blame Iraq for losing Osama
Mod Q: Afghanistan, acceptable dictator?
Obama: pull out Iraq and move troops
Mcain: some of the same, broader, basic insurgent strategy
Q10: Russia
McCain: support satellites, no cold war
Obama: same, see better foreign moves.( good but can we do it with hands tied)
Mod Q : Evil Empire
Obama: they are going there McCain: Maybe (trouble)
Q11: Commit troops with out UN to Israel
McCain: Yes, China and Russian UN veto, No Iran nukes
Obama: No Iran nukes, No UN veto on security, try to talk( Europe did it for years)
q12 What don't know, and how will learn?
Obama: ask my wife :) (scary) stump speech, attack Bush,(wages down for more than 8 yrs)
McCain: Don't know what will happen. Stump history ect.

Obama's Take On The Keating 5
It seems to be more of an attack on deregulation than on John McCain.
Deregulation is not no regulation. Republicans are not anarchists.
It is not good but it has been a number of years, hearings were held and was much in the press at the time. What about the voters in AZ? If it was all so unforgivable why did they vote him in again, its kind of a cop out but i couldn't of voted him out.
As a side where was the honor of the regulators. My job is to enforce the rules, the rules are broken in the worst way, some senator ask me to look the other way and you just say okay. Don't mention the senators just punish the rule breakers. If that was the honor of the bureaucrats then what is it like now.
If both Barack Obama And John McCain are doing questionable favors for people who do we want those people to be? It is unbelievable that this has even become a realistic question. People acting on their greed or people acting on some kind of radical PC Socialism.

Ayers Connection was Worse than I Thought
This video comes from CNN not known for its right wing spin.
The question is not if Obama agrees with him. Yes he doesn't agree with the violence. It is if he agrees with his philosophy. And if not what is wrong with it. Do we need "alternative education"? Should we be calling it reeducation? I don't know. Explain to me how this is not important and just a smear.

Ignore the Spin, Decide What is More Important
It should go with out saying, but in this case I am talking about the post here. I have been avoiding some good stuff because of the level of spin involved with it. I feel like a right wing hack if i mention Rev. Wright or Ayers, on some level they are important. I think very important but that's for you to decide. Some of the information included isn't all that important or it is just a small example of more of the same. Always consider the source but don't discount things just because of the source.
Second Presidential Pre-Debate
I have predicted John McCain by five. I am have some doubts. I don't think that he need a game changer to night but he need one soon. The format doesn't seem to allow for much of a direct attack. I hope that their are people smart enough to lay some traps for Barack Obama.
Talk about ACORN, call some of what they did legalized black mail?
Mention some of the "education" programs that where supported the group that Obama was on the board with Ayers, not Ayers or the group directly. Let Obama defend it or bring up Ayers.
Find a way to ask if those who don't pay income taxes are going to get money back are in that bottom 95% Are they getting money back that they didn't pay in.
If we take more money from those who make more than 250000( not small businesses ) are we going to spend it better than them. don't we need liquidity wright now?
What about the 30% + waste in medicare? Should we be spending that money their? Should we expanding it at all?
Ask lots of questions, lots and lots questions. Only briefly and directly answer the personal situations part of the questions. Rebut Obama's attacks with "no that's not the case i have said it before find the facts out for yourself" mention factcheck. org or you campaign web site. This isn't all that complicated.
If McCain points out the truth, the real truth not the BS short answer PC spin the only way he can loose is if the public really does believe in a hardcore Socialist/Marxist philosophy. If that is the case the American Experiment is over for at lest the next two generation if not forever.

Dragging the Twenty-First Century
I think that only daring speculation can lead us further and not accumulation of facts.
- Einstein
Where did we loose our ability to take risk.
Was it given up person by person in exchange for security, deciding it just wasn't worth it, or we just don't know what it is any more?
Was it slowly ground out by supposed capitalists companies run by committee, trying just to protect the bottom line?
Was it regulated out of existence by a government trying to protect and satisfy everyone for the supposed good of all but not at the expense of few.
Was it a collective society of individuals protecting themselves buy doing as little as possible?
I fear that we are dragging the whole of the twenty- first century around our necks into the twenty - second, resting on the wonderful achievements of that century and deciding that all from then are the only ideas that work. It is an unseen anchor that will stop us in our track as the current slowly drives us back. "only daring speculation can lead us further and not accumulation of facts"
Make a move, make a mistake and make it big. A country of hundreds of millions doesn't move on a dime but changing the paint isn't gong to get us anywhere.

Obama's Iraq Pollicy and a Blind Squirrel
There is something to what my HS football couch said repeatedly, even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while. More accurately in this case a stopped watch is right twice a day. I am not talking about the should we go in to Iraq or not. And not talking about the surge. It worked, whether it was directly our forces or it just gave cover for more Iraqis to get on board. This applies to the withdraw.
It goes like this:
left right
"get out" "not till it is stable"
"get out" "it's worse but we have to stay"
"get out" "it's getting better but we aren't there yet"
"get out" "things are a lot better but not assured"
"get out" " things are pretty stable we can get out soon"
"see even the right agrees" "yes we do now that its stable"
Why is it so hard to understand? Even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while.
