There is something to what my HS football couch said repeatedly, even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while. More accurately in this case a stopped watch is right twice a day. I am not talking about the should we go in to Iraq or not. And not talking about the surge. It worked, whether it was directly our forces or it just gave cover for more Iraqis to get on board. This applies to the withdraw.
It goes like this:
left right
"get out" "not till it is stable"
"get out" "it's worse but we have to stay"
"get out" "it's getting better but we aren't there yet"
"get out" "things are a lot better but not assured"
"get out" " things are pretty stable we can get out soon"
"see even the right agrees" "yes we do now that its stable"
Why is it so hard to understand? Even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while.
