The basics:
McCain: MT, ND, MO, IN, AZ AR, GA No question for me
PA, NC, FL 99% sure
NV, CO, OH, NH, VA are the less certain
I would not be surprised by NM or ME going for McCain.
Why? The soft support for Obama has been moving to the undecided column. Enough questions have been put out there to push them over to McCain. The second part is at least some complacence in the Obama camp and the traditional and soft conservatives are pissed. Less turnout among the youth vote as evident by the early voting and some complacently on the Obama side. The McCain voters are coming out in larger numbers over Wright, Ayers, guns, Marxism. Those moving away from Obama will support McCain on the redistribution and socialism charges.
There is a urban Vs. suburb element. I am in MO in St. Charles just outside St. Louis. I know very well people in the suburbs of were raised there that now work or live in the city. They are generally pissed day in and day out at the mess that is that city and blame the seeming unwillingness of those in that city to pull themselves out of it.
As a secondhand example( i pay as little attention to that place as I can) Larry Rice run a shelter and soup kitchen in the city. A generally well liked guy and is on public access from time to time. He will pay bills for those on supposedly hard times. My understanding is that he also offers them things like plastic and caulk for windows to keep out the cold and lower the bill. They will not even be respectful take the stuff and say they will, they flat out refuse but will take the money. So when someone even mentions taking their money to give it to those type of people, those who will not take five minutes to save a little money, they go off the deep end and you get those that generally don't care go out and vote.
The election will be decided in the suburbs and in the end they will move more than enough to push many states (MO, IN, PA, NC, FL, CO, OH, VA) in to the McCain camp.
In general if Obama is at 51-52% he loses that state. 1% bleed from Obama to third parties and 2-3% bleed to thoughts over the kind of amazing number of poorly or un-answered questions and the slips of lowering the point at which the taxes are raised.

Obama the Twenty- First century American Marxist: My Election Choice
I have been on the fence between a third party and McCain. Up until two days ago I wanted to very much vote for a third party. I feel that if enough people voted for the first third party on the ballot it would be looked at as a no confidence vote. I really thought that it was the time to brake the political cycle. I do not look at it as a wasted vote. I look at voting for one of the two party persons as a wasted vote. Is, up til now, their been any real change,common sense, out of the box candidates? Obama fall into this category in the worst way.
Is he a Marxist? I have been finding Barrack Obama or trying to.
The answer. No, not in the 20th century, Stalin, kill millions, reeducation, work camp sense of the word. It seems more of a fuzzy, help the less fortunate at all cost, social justice, restrict everything until the only thing left is want he wants. An twenty- first century American Marxist.
He is most defiantly an ultra liberal with strong leftist leanings. And congress is on board if not driving the train.
Okay so Business is evil, employee free choice act, fairness doctrine, stifling of speech, shouting down fair points, calling everything racist, the reeducation of social justice and liberation theology, direct wealth redistribution, uh
gun regulation to get rid of all guns, global warming bs, fantasy green revolution, free heath care, free preschool, pay for college , pay for, free, !!, national security force, brown shirts?,uh
Pacifist or appeasement foreign policy, cut the military by 25 when it should be at least a 100% increase, Questionable Opposition to the nightmare leaders in the middle east, agreeing with the worst parts of European thought, I am not even sure where he is on the Muslin rights? crap in Europe, Uh
Multicultural suicide, the Gaul invasion (sorry the welcoming of the undocumented workers). Oh the Newsspeak(1984), sharing the pie, "he will never let you go back to the way things were, no media opposition.Uh
Restrict everything until the only thing left is want he wants. Cuba? Soviet Union? China? Didn't we fight a cold war for fifty years against this type of ideology? I still wanted find a way to vote third party. Then.

A new darker dream is beginning to form. A dream of my name in stone just below the self reliant, individual patriot of the former United States of America that I was killed next to. One of many stones just outside the capital, burnt to the ground and buried. The White House replaced with the largest of all of the stones that dot the land in little groups from coast to coast. In small letters near the bottom:

May we shed no more blood over failed ideas of the extreme.
Some thing like that. My point I am as much as I don't want to be in the NObama camp.

Obama getting Desperate, McCain getting Focused
The Pennsylvania attention is interesting. Obama is ahead there almost entirely from the support around Philadelphia, 2-1 support. I don't buy that in the suburbs. Evan if that is so, some of those people will move with the new focused message of McCain, even if it is still a little weak.
On the stump Obama, to me, to be losing the focused speech giving. Stumbling over word, the message seem a little muddled. Yesterday he was giving the McCain is Bush lines and said that McCain supported 4 out of 5 Bush budgets. Only 4 of 5, not helping your case. People are not Completely sold. Then he starts on he is worse than Bush. If you can't effectively sell the basic idea why would you go even farther? Desperation?
McCain is focused. Hitting the redistribution head on. Using the stand up and fight lines with the basic American ideas. The confident delivery and the stark contradiction between the redistribution and the American Ideas may be enough to move the masses.

The Rules For John MCcain in the Third Debate.
1. Do not say Ayers, Rev. wright or ACORN in the context of voting.
You are trying to get those in the middle. They have written off Ayers and Wright as guilt by association, as important as it might be its not working well. ACORN and voting are being mitigated and with the small number that are in question maybe it should.
Instead of Ayers talk about the CAC and who they gave money to. Start with the Kurtz' Wright 101. Quote from as many mission statement and publications as you can find.
Instead of Rev. Wright talk about Social Justice, Liberation Philosophy and Theology. The similarities to Marxist thought, how this has lead to God backing socialist views and once that happens it becomes untouchable at least in the political world.
Instead of Talking about the ACORN and the voter registration talk about there housing activities.What is their mission statement.
2.Spend half the time being brief and concise on the economy. Half asking Obama questions.
You economics plan is out there. Be honest the President has little to to with the economy and the situation is likely to be vastly different by the time you take office. Don't dodge, brief and concise and don't take any bate to get into the weeds.

Quote the comments of Rep. Lewis, Rev Jackson and mention the endless discussion of how race effects the election. Larry King had the headline Does the economy trump racism. So let me get this straight if people may get over the racism because of the economy Obama wins if not he loses because of racism? Hit this head on. There enough clear examples of this to make your point.
Make it clear that a liberal liberal is just that but a very liberal liberal is a socialist. Let your surrogates lay out Why Obama's socialism matters and Why Obama's Communist Connections Are Not Headlines Trap him by asking if this is fair. Does this sort of thing chill speech? If you treat people as victims are they? Quote Marx, Stalin or Mao, not the blatant ones but ones some will recognize and ask him if he agrees.

Obama's Take On The Keating 5
It seems to be more of an attack on deregulation than on John McCain.
Deregulation is not no regulation. Republicans are not anarchists.
It is not good but it has been a number of years, hearings were held and was much in the press at the time. What about the voters in AZ? If it was all so unforgivable why did they vote him in again, its kind of a cop out but i couldn't of voted him out.
As a side where was the honor of the regulators. My job is to enforce the rules, the rules are broken in the worst way, some senator ask me to look the other way and you just say okay. Don't mention the senators just punish the rule breakers. If that was the honor of the bureaucrats then what is it like now.
If both Barack Obama And John McCain are doing questionable favors for people who do we want those people to be? It is unbelievable that this has even become a realistic question. People acting on their greed or people acting on some kind of radical PC Socialism.

Second Presidential Pre-Debate
I have predicted John McCain by five. I am have some doubts. I don't think that he need a game changer to night but he need one soon. The format doesn't seem to allow for much of a direct attack. I hope that their are people smart enough to lay some traps for Barack Obama.
Talk about ACORN, call some of what they did legalized black mail?
Mention some of the "education" programs that where supported the group that Obama was on the board with Ayers, not Ayers or the group directly. Let Obama defend it or bring up Ayers.
Find a way to ask if those who don't pay income taxes are going to get money back are in that bottom 95% Are they getting money back that they didn't pay in.
If we take more money from those who make more than 250000( not small businesses ) are we going to spend it better than them. don't we need liquidity wright now?
What about the 30% + waste in medicare? Should we be spending that money their? Should we expanding it at all?
Ask lots of questions, lots and lots questions. Only briefly and directly answer the personal situations part of the questions. Rebut Obama's attacks with "no that's not the case i have said it before find the facts out for yourself" mention factcheck. org or you campaign web site. This isn't all that complicated.
If McCain points out the truth, the real truth not the BS short answer PC spin the only way he can loose is if the public really does believe in a hardcore Socialist/Marxist philosophy. If that is the case the American Experiment is over for at lest the next two generation if not forever.

November Prediction, McCain Wins by 5
I have been watching much on Fox And CNN and reading as much as I can. I haven't made any call til now but my sense is that the high rhetoric of Obama has worn off and that was the major draw. McCain and Obama have pretty similar ideas on a number of things. McCain's ideas trend toward to the left and occupy more of the middle. The conservative democrats will be in the McCain camp and the base will be their. so even if all the new Obama do vote McCain will stay the tide.
Why 5 points? i had thought that it would be much bigger but we still haven't gotten to the detailed issues. I don't think we will. if we did and McCain hit Obama on the Marxist crap it would be a landslide. I hope that they will at least put questions to Obama about the stifling of free speech with the Fairness doctrine and the mess that is the Employee Free Choice Act.

Brief Thoughts of this Election Cycle
I am I have been hiding for the past week. Spending late night watching some early episodes of shows i haven't seen online. hiding from trying to organize my computer. Setting it up to post and read more easily. Mainly hiding from the election coverage. I am Sickened, a little physically ill really would like to grab someone by the neck kind of mad. Reason is not dead, just hopelessly enslaved. hand around the neck.
i have read the the statistics for cause of death in this country are horribly misrepresented. For a generic example: An 85 year old man, overweight smoker dies from a heart attack. Did he die from being 85, a smoker or over weight. My guess, well i don't care, i hope he had a happy life and my condolences to his family. His death i don't think tells us much. His death will be one of those they sat died from smoking and separately from obesity. So the numbers say he died twice once from smoking once from obesity. ( Doing this in firefox and i am going to set it on fire if it doesn't stop screwing with me) The point is no one dies from old age any more.
Apply this to the exit polling. Does it help anyone to know that Clinton has a slight edge with white woman over 65 with a cat that likes blue houses in Northern Atlanta over Obama. No. More on point giving me the numbers on people that think the economy is important and then people that think the war is important. some of these have to be the same. There is a massive simplification not just of the numbers but the issues. If the war is important how, what is the level of their knowledge on the issue, are they just hearing the flame throwing and going along. Questions like "are there valid legal reasons to charge US with war crimes"( legally it is a stretch at best) or " is their ever a legitimate reason to goto war, short of an invasion of your country" (hell yes, and i would love to see those numbers.
Ok not so brief. McCain. I don't agree with the three or so issues the right is attacking him on. The immigration stuff was quite a steaming pile. Trying to paint this guy as some sort of liberal, give me a freak'n break. i liked him in 2000 but he lost me when he went to Bob Jones or were ever it was. He tried to get something done. is that so bad. he was wrong, but he tried and was not tied to the conservative line. Look the conservatives are wrong and the liberals are worse. There is some sort of ideal out there in front of us that we are trying to get to. The liberal just want to go get it, the conservatives think if we look back and take the path we passed we will get there. Ok but if the ideal is floating above the Grand Canyon. We will all end up at the bottom no closer. its just a matter of how fast. Not a Great example. Lewis Black said it this way: the Republicans are a party of bad ideas and the Democrats are a party of no ideas. Republicans say i have a bad idea and the Democrats say we can make it worse (Not exact and cleaned up). i will at some point make an attempt at a cohesive explanation of my views an the left right stuff.
I Am Just Mad and Confused. A giant mess of media, mainstream and others, and politics that are just so massively missing the point and most of the time are completely wrong. Wrong Direction and obviously wrong about what it will do. PLEASE PLEASE stop and think.
Take five minutes and just think every day. Is my life what i want, does what my boss wants me to do make any sense, Is that best for me, my family, neighbors, my grandkids, look at it from ten angles not one or two, is that were i want to go, is that legal really? and is it moral, your morals not the ones in a book or on tv, is it practical now, will it be, how soon.
Listen, think, ask, listen, think, repeat. If you spend enough time the important question come to the top and the crap will run off. The more time spent the faster it seem to happen.

Is my life what i want, does what my boss wants me to do make any sense, Is that best for me, my family, neighbors, my grandkids, look at it from ten angles not one or two, is that were i want to go, is that legal really? and is it moral, your morals not the ones in a book or on tv, is it practical now, will it be, how soon.
Listen, think, ask, listen, think, repeat. If you spend enough time the important question come to the top and the crap will run off. The more time spent the faster it seem to happen.
